PHOENIX, AZ — The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) believe that in light of the latest downturn in our nation’s employment and economic indicators, Washington lawmakers should stop rewarding the criminal behavior of illegal aliens by seeking to offer them tax rebates and should instead use those funds to secure our borders and strengthen employment verification laws. Minutemen volunteers will be calling, faxing and e-mailing their elected representatives, in order to vocalize their disgust towards those Members of Congress who want to pay illegal aliens to stay here after they have violate our laws, culture and sovereignty.
“Providing illegal aliens with a tax rebate will only incentivize them to continue their criminal behavior, encourage others to violate our borders in order to receive these government handouts, and cause more unnecessary debt for our federal government,” added Chris Simcox, President and founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. “Most of the illegal aliens are already exploiting our taxpayer-funded social services even though they never pay into the system, like legal citizens who are compelled to do so with every paycheck.”
Minutemen volunteers will send a strong message to Congress and demand that only legal citizens deserve a tax rebate. MCDC believes that the lack of strict employment verification laws and the funding for a physical border fence on the U.S.-Mexico border have emboldened the lawless invasion of America by illegal aliens, thereby contributing to our current economic downturn.
Simcox continues, “In order to save the U.S. economy, we must change the equilibrium by permitting only those legally authorized to hold jobs, to compete for employment. We will not be able to protect our country or its workforce if our government offers incentives such as amnesty or tax rebates to illegal aliens who will continue to exploit taxpayer-funded social services while hard-working American taxpayers get punished for following the law.”
