In CA we have spotted and reported 58 people since the beginning of October. Yesterday morning we had a half starving and bruised young man wander into our camp looking for assistance. He was fed, given water and turned over to BP. This has happened every Sunday this month. Of the 58, nearly all were apprehended by BP. We have reported a new suburban filled with 15 illegals that was seized and the coyote, all 15 illegals, $10,000 and the vehicle were taken. About 300 minutemen have participated in the October watch so far.
We are using the night vision very effectively. The drop in numbers can be attributed to MM and National Guard having nearly 24/7 overwatch on the border itself. People are just not crossing without getting caught. We were credited with helping BP capture three trucks full of drugs after a ramp truck drive over in Oneil Valley. They waited for us to leave and in broad daylight tried to make a run. BP was watching us leave and caught the group and the drugs right after that. By letting them, know when we leave an area they are setting up scope trucks to watch the border when we go. The result has been very positive thus far.
