July 4th Parade - Marietta, GA
MCDC Has Float in the Parade
Calling All Volunteers to Join Us!!!

When:  Friday July 4, 2008

Parade Time: 10:00AM – 12:-00PM

Time To Be There:  8:30AM. We carpool to the staging area at 8:45AM.   Late comers will not be permitted entry. Last parade participants let in at 9:15AM.

Where:  Wal-Mart parking lot - 210 Cobb Parkway just south of the Big Chicken

Join us for a patriotic 1.5-mile walk behind our float, a 1956 MGA convertible, to spread the word about the Georgia Minutemen.

This is a great opportunity to show the public that we are working to improve the community.

Volunteers needed to walk in the parade and to hand out literature and applications from sidewalk stations.

Please bring American flags, water. 

Wear a Red, White OR Blue T-Shirt. We will provide letters to spell GOD BLESS AMERICA to pin to our shirts.

Please remember our MCDC SOP

Parade Rules:
1 banner and American flags are permitted. No handheld signs allowed.
OK to wear your message (signs pinned to clothing, etc.) We can also place signs on the car – suggestions welcome
No one can pass anything out while the parade is going on.
