...to the latest Maryland Minuteman Civil Defense Corps Weekend
Update. We use these Updates to keep you informed of MMCDC
activities, and to give you practical suggestions on things you can
do about the growing problem of illegal aliens in Maryland.
All information about MMCDC activities in this Update is public, so
feel free to forward it to friends and family as concerned as you are
about illegal immigration.
PUBLIC MEETING - FEB 8
Make plans to attend the public hearing about the proposed Montgomery
County day labor center. Meeting will be at:
Montgomery County Planning Board
8787 Georgia Avenue
Silver Spring MD 20910
Meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR - FEB 15TH
Make plans to attend Ike Leggett's next Town Hall meeting. We have
to keep up the pressure!
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Ritchie Park Elementary School
1514 Dunster Road
Yes, we DO ask you to go to a lot of meetings! But defending our
country and our way of life has never been easy. Ask the Continental
soldier frozen to death at Valley Forge, or the Marine shredded by
gunfire on the beaches of Iwo Jima, or the teenage girl maimed for
life driving an unarmored truck on the streets of Bagdad. They'd
gladly trade places with you. If you cannot find it in yourself to
take a little time from work and publicly state your opposition to
illegal immigration, then maybe the illegal aliens deserve this
country more than do!
MARYLAND DRIVERS LICENSE BILL (SB 184)
Everyone needs to contact their state senator and ask him or her to
support SB 184, the bill that would bring Maryland into compliance
with the federal REAL ID Act and stop Maryland from issuing drivers'
licenses to illegal aliens.
The following Senators are sponsors of the bill, and need to be
thanked and encouraged to resist letting it get watered down:
Larry Haines- District 5 (Carroll and Baltimore Counties)
Nancy Jacobs- District 34 (Harford and Cecil Counties)
Norman Stone- District 6 (Baltimore County)
Alex Mooney- District 3 (Frederick County)
Bryan Simonaire- District 31 (Anne Arundel County)
The following Senators are on the Judicial Committee and need to
support the bill so it can go to the floor for a vote. If one of
these is YOUR Senator, it is CRUCIAL you call or visit about this!
Call toll-free 1-800-492-7122 and use the extension:
Brian Frosh- District 16 (Montgomery) ext. 3124
Lisa Gladden- District 41 (Baltimore City) ext. 3697
Jennie Forehand- District 17 (Montgomery) ext. 3134
James Brochin- District 42 (Baltimore County) ext. 3648
C. Anthony Muse- District 26 (Prince George's) ext. 3092
Jamie Raskin- District 20 (Montgomery) ext. 3634

BORDER PATROL AGENTS ON AMW
Rumor is that this Saturday, "America's Most Wanted" will profile the
two Border Patrol Agents, Ramos & Campeon, who have been sent to jail
for 10 years for shooting at a fleeing Mexican drug smuggler. While
Ramos & Campeon may have broken agency policy about reporting
shooting incidents, that does not explain why their own government
saw fit to go to Mexico to offer the drug smuggler immunity and free
medical care in order to testify against them. (Oh, yeah, the drug
smuggler is now suing for MILLIONS).
WEBSITE OF THE WEEK
This website represents the forgotten victims of illegal immigration:
Mexican women and children! Illegal immigrants who leave their
families to work in the US aren't all self-sacrificing saints the way
the liberal media likes to portray them . For many, life in the US
means plenty of spending money, new drinking buddies, hot young girls
with no mommas to watch them, and best of all -- no more family
responsibilities! Sure beats being a faithful husband and dad in
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
