...to the latest Maryland Minuteman Civil Defense Corps Weekend Update. We use these Updates to keep you informed of MMCDC activities, and to give you practical suggestions on things you can do about the growing problem of illegal aliens in Maryland.
All information about MMCDC activities in this Update is public, so feel free to forward it to friends and family as concerned as you are about illegal immigration.
WE CAN STOP HB-6!! The chances of stopping HB-6, the law that would grant in-state tuition at Maryland colleges to illegal aliens, are excellent --IF we all keep the pressure on for another few days. The Maryland General Assembly session ends at midnight on Monday, April 9th. Right now, Republican state senators are encouraged by your calls and are standing strong. They have kept the bill bottled up in committee so far. Call your state senators first thing Monday morning and voice your strong opposition to rewarding law breakers with bargain tuition rates.
To find out who your state senators are, and to get their phone, fax and email, go to http://mdelect.net
You also need to call Senate President Mike Miller: 410-841-3700.
