stop North carolina House Bill 2717 "Access to Higher education",

historic citizen lobby and rally is

taking place
in Raleigh TODAY.

PHOENIX, AZ —The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) has joined with ALIPAC to put a stop to North Carolina State Representatives Luebke, Harrison, and Glazier's House Bill 2717 "Access to Higher education", which would force our colleges to not check the legal status of students and thus reversing the recent nationally covered decision of the North Carolina Attorney General baring illegals from NC Community Colleges.

The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps supports anti-illegal immigration and border security organizations, and encourages all North Carolina volunteers to join a citizen lobbying day at the state capital in Raleigh today.

Chris Simcox, MCDC President says “Illegal aliens should not receive any taxpayer benefits, especially college access. North Carolina is a top destination for illegals in America and the state must do all it can to protect taxpayer resources and stop actively recruiting illegals to NC. Furthermore, it is outlandish to create even the possibility that a NC or American student would not get one of the limited seats in our colleges because of illegal aliens."

Legal NC citizens demand that this year's budget be amended to stop illegal aliens from receiving any taxpayer resources that are not required by Federal law.

Protesters also urge passing legislation encouraging NC businesses to use the E-Verify system to make sure all of their employees are legal.  We urge the NC legislature to attach language to the budget stating that no more tax monies should go to the La Raza front group El Pueblo. El Pueblo is receiving almost half a million dollars in tax monies each year in grants and is lobbying NC legislators for benefits for illegal aliens!

The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) is a peaceful, law-abiding and citizen-led initiative organized to stand watch at our borders and in our neighborhoods, report illegal activities to the proper authorities, and aid in the construction of border fencing on private lands using private donations. Additionally, MCDC seeks to urge local and federal officials to enforce our immigration laws in order to keep our families and country safe. MCDC conducts border watch operations that assist the activities of the U.S. Border Patrol, reports employers of illegal aliens, and advocates to keeps tax dollars from being used for illegal alien benefits.
