WASHINGTON STATE BORDER OPERATION
TO ALL WASHINGTON STATE MINUTEMEN:
Our March, 2008 Border Vigil will be conducted over the weekend of Saturday, March 15th and Sunday, March 16th, 2008.
We will conduct a night operation on Friday evening, March 14th also. Those interested in the Friday night operation should contact Claude ASAP at ( 360 ) 366-4047. This Friday night operation is open only to experienced members who have already had initial training and stood posts on previous border operations.
Our full initial muster will take place at 09:00 A.M. Saturday morning, the 15th, at Camp Standing Bear *.
At headquarters we have space available to accomodate campers, motorhomes, trailers, etc. Also, we have bunkhouse space available for those wanting to sleep on a cot ( bring your own sleeping bag.) Saturday evening, after the day shift debriefing, we will sit down to enjoy a home-cooked meal at Camp Standing Bear.
We will have all moved our clocks and watches ahead one hour prior to this Border Watch weekend, so the days will be longer and Spring will be in the air! A beautiful time of year to be up in Whatcom County!
